Dre's Takes: It's VB Season
Hey Team,
Volleyball season is officially back, and this one feels a little different for me because it's my twelfth season on this ride. My husband is the head coach, so this time of year has been part of my life for over a decade now, and I still get butterflies walking into a packed gym on opening weekend.
I'm not out there playing, my days on the court are long behind me if they ever existed, but I love this season for a different reason. I love watching the fashion in the stands and on the sidelines almost as much as I love watching great volleyball. There's something about a gym full of team colors, statement hair, and a hundred small style choices that makes tournament weekends feel like their own kind of event.

Twelve seasons in, I still get emotional watching a team come together over the course of a year. Every fall feels like the start of a new story, and this one has a big ending on the horizon: the national championship in San Antonio this December. I don't know yet who will be standing there holding the trophy, and honestly, that's part of what makes this season so much fun to watch.
One thing that has stayed consistent through all twelve seasons is my fashion routine on gamedays.
Between the noise, the nerves, and hours in the gym, I need a ponytail that can go the distance without slipping or leaving a dent by the time I'm back home. That's where TIY comes in, it's become a small, steady part of my routine no matter how the season is going.

If you're gearing up for your own season, whether you're coaching, cheering, or just love the sport as much as I do, you can find the current lineup at tiyproducts.com.
Thank you for letting me share this little piece of my world with you. Here's to another season of good volleyball and even better fashion.
Talk soon,
Dre
