Innovation at Its Finest: Game-Changing Product Launches

At TIY, we know there’s always room to grow. This year’s product launches reflect our dedication to continuous improvement, and giving our loyal customers more ways to express themselves.

New Refillable Pro 2.0

In August, we introduced our Pro 2.0 Refillable Packs, a nod to our love for sustainability and convenience. This eco-friendly solution to your hair tie problems allows you to refill your Pro Pack with new strands and carry them without clutter. Reducing waste is, and always will be, important to us. We are overwhelmed with great responses and so excited about this change.

TIY is Breaking New Ground

TIY took the world by storm in 2024, literally going global! We took our hair ties to new heights, expanding our reach and forging new partnerships on the world stage.

Paris 2024

Our CEO, Andrea Nucete-Elliott, jetted off to the Summer Games to take TIY global and empower athletes to go for the gold. The relationships she built followed her home to Austin, where she is continuing to spread the news about TIY far and wide.

The exceptional TKN women's volleyball team competed in their debut games. Taryn Kloth and Kristen Nuss dominated the sand, rocking their TIY-secured hair for the world to see.

Football Fields to Tennis Courts

We've been busy! TIY hair ties have made their way into several sports this year. Now, we're the go-to hair tie for the Baltimore Ravens, tackling stereotypes left and right. TIY is tied with several athletes in tennis, fitness, running, softball, and we are breaking into more! It's been thrilling to see our ties holding strong whether it's under a football helmet or during a marathon finish.

Torch Warrior and TIY

Our partnership with Torch Warrior this year allowed us to show our support for women in uniform in new ways than anyone had thought of before. Military uniforms call for certain criteria, and TIY was happy to provide a solution that makes a difference to the women who bravely serve our country.

Sponsoring Queens and Kings of Volleyball

We had a blast sponsoring the Queen & King of the Court after-parties. It was our way of celebrating the spirit of volleyball and the incredible athletes who made it so thrilling. The energy at these events was electric, and it reminded us why we love being part of the volleyball community.

TIY Products does more than sell hair ties to athletic and powerful women. We support the community around us and causes close to our heart.

SXSW Startup Crawl

TIY debuted at the SXSW Startup Crawl in Austin, Texas. It was refreshing and wonderful for us to celebrate and support women entrepreneurs. We loved that innovative vibe that comes with being in a room of creative minds.

TikTok Live Giveaways

We almost never do discounts on TIY hair ties, but we love to do giveaways! This year we started hosting TikTok live sessions to connect with our fans and share TIY's benefits with more people. We feel closer to you than ever, and our CEO Andrea Nucete-Elliott loves your comments and questions.

Austin Fashion Week

We saw Andrea walk the catwalk at the 15th Annual Austin Fashion Week! This event supports various charities including The Austin Area Urban League, The ACC Fashion Incubator, The Kindness Campaign, The Black Fund, the Center for Child Protection, Women's Symphony League of Austin, and more.

Andrea Nucete-Elliott is passionate about creating change through her business and using her platform for good. She collaborates with organizations that support and uplift women. 

Dancing with the Stars - Austin

True to form, Andrea stepped it up to participate in this year's Dancing With The Stars Austin. Benefiting the Center for Child Protection, the all-star cast collectively raised $2.8 Million to support child abuse victims. She partnered Ferenc Kiss of Sway Dance Clubs. Together, the duo took third place in the competition.

Recognition That Inspired Us

On top of the world and on top of everything else, 2024 was a year for the books. TIY hair ties is gaining steam and getting attention from organizations that thrive on amazing products.

Austin Lifestyle and Living Our Best Life

It's official! We are one of the favorite picks from Austin that has made a significant impression in the community. We felt like such winners when we were featured as one of Austin Lifestyle's Favorite 5 Things publication. Not only are we grateful to be a part of Austin Lifestyle's esteemed list, but we are also privileged to be in the company of such innovative brands.

All Over the Final Four!

All four of the teams, yes all four, that competed in the finals of the NCAA Division 1 Women's Volleyball Championship wore TIY hair ties.

Seeing all four teams in the NCAA Volleyball Final Four sporting TIY hair ties was a pinch-me moment. It's a testament to the quality and reliability of our products, and we couldn't be prouder to be the choice of champions.

What's Next for TIY in 2025?

As we tie off 2024, we're already excited about what 2025 has in store. We're gearing up to explore new markets, introduce more exciting colors, and increase our community involvement. Keep an eye out for our expansion into softball and our debut in the world of gymnastics!
